Description

No. 12 Church Street is a former smithy, now used as a store, likely built in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of limestone rubble and has a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys tall. On the left side, there is a wide opening with plain reveals and a segmental arch above it. To the right of this opening, there is a window featuring plain reveals, a timber sill, and a timber frame for a later window. Further to the right, there is a shuttered opening with a simple stone surround. On the first floor, there are two fixed windows with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds.
