Description

This is a terrace of five houses located on the south side of Jesmond Road, dating to approximately 1842. The construction is primarily English bond brick with an ashlar basement and dressings; the left return is slate-hung, the right return is rendered, and the roof is covered in Welsh slate. The houses are arranged over a basement and three storeys, with three bays per house. The front doors are 8-panelled with overlights in architraves, located to the right of number 56 and paired between the other houses. The sash windows have wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills, with glazing bars present in number 64.
