Description

This is a terrace of ten houses located on the south side of Jesmond Road, dating to around 1840. The buildings are constructed of English bond brick, with a painted ashlar basement and ashlar dressings. The roofs are covered in Welsh slate.

The terrace is arranged with a basement and three storeys, with three bays per house. Each house features an 8-panelled door with an overlight within an architrave, located in the third bay. Windows have wedge stone lintels, projecting stone sills, and recessed brick apron panels below the first-floor sash windows, which contain glazing bars. The central windows on the third floor are blind. There is an eaves gutter cornice. The roof has a low pitch, with banded brick chimneys. A dormer window has been inserted into No. 22.
