Description

This is a terrace of houses located at 2 to 12 Magdalene Street, built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of English garden wall bond brick, except for No. 12, which is rendered and features ashlar dressings. They have a Welsh slate roof and are two storeys high, with two bays for each house, totaling 22 bays. The doors are framed by panelled architraves and elliptical brick arches, with some doors being 4- or 6-panelled and featuring shallow fanlights, some of which are patterned. The windows have flat brick arches and projecting stone sills, with sash windows that include glazing bars, except for Nos. 11 and 5.
