Description

This is a barn and horse gin located on the east side of Shepherd's House Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from dressed sandstone and features clay pantile roofs. The barn has a stable door on the left side of its south face, along with two slit vents to the right and one in the east end. Adjoining the north side of the barn is a half-octagonal horse gin, which has a conical roof. The machinery has been removed. This structure is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
