Description
This is an early to mid-19th century coach house and cottage situated south-west of Brotton House. The coach house is constructed of dressed sandstone and has Welsh slate roofs with stone ridge and gable copings, and a chimney stack at the right end. It features two basket-arched openings, each with voussoirs, boarded doors, and timber blocking to the tympana, these holding fixed glazing. Adjoining the coach house to the left is a lower, two-storey cottage which has one renewed horizontal sash window on each floor and a boarded door on the right. The building is included in the listing for its group value.
