Description
The boundary wall, railings, gatepiers, gates, and steps to Brotton House were constructed in the early to mid-19th century. The wall is made of dressed sandstone and features four rusticated sandstone piers. These piers have moulded cornices and ball finials. The wall has rounded copings and mid-20th century ornamental railings on the lower sections. There are two steps leading up to the central gateway, which includes a mid-20th century gate. This structure is included for its group value with Brotton House.
