Description

A pair of cottages located in Loftus Stone Row, Skinningrove, dating from the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed of dressed sandstone and have a renewed clay pantile roof with a stone ridge, gable copings, block kneelers, and renewed brick end and ridge stacks. They are two storeys high and have four windows. Each cottage features a central boarded door with an overlight and a painted lintel. No. 19 has sash windows with glazing bars, while the first-floor windows have been renewed. No. 18 has mid-to-late 20th-century top-hung casements. The ground-floor windows have painted stone lintels and painted sills.
