Description

No. 21 is a cottage located on the north side of High Street in Loftus, dated 1767 on the door lintel. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a clay pantile roof with a stone ridge and gable copings. The moulded kneeler and stack have been rebuilt in stone and brick. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. There is a doorway to the right that holds a late 20th-century panelled door. The ground floor has a late 20th-century casement window in the original opening, while the first floor has renewed sashes with glazing bars. The windows are topped with keyed lintels, and there is a stack at the left end of the building.
