Description
This building is a barn and gin gang located to the south of Stonechester Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins, and features pantiled roofs. The barn is a single storey with two bays, and has a wide boarded door on the left, which is set beneath a half-width stone lintel. The roof is steeply pitched and has reverse-crow-step gable coping. To the left of the barn door, the gin gang consists of two rectangular-plan piers, with the spaces between them bricked up, supporting a half-octagonal roof.
