Description

Nos. 95, 97, and 99 on Westgate are a terrace of three cottages dating from the early 19th century, with No. 97 now serving as an office and No. 99 as a shop. The cottages are constructed from chevron dressed sandstone with tooled margins. Nos. 95 and 97 have mid-20th century concrete tiled roofs, while No. 99 features clay pantiles. The left-hand side has stone gable coping, with a brick stack on the left and a stone stack on the right. The buildings are two storeys high. No. 95 has a four-panelled door on the right side, complete with a rectangular fanlight and keystone, along with one sash window on each floor. The ground floors of Nos. 97 and 99 have modern shop and office fronts. No. 97 has a sash window on the first floor, while No. 99 features an early 20th-century bow window. The extensions at the rear (south side) are not of interest.
