Description
Nos 109 and 111 on Westgate are a pair of disused cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from chevron dressed sandstone, with brick used for the side and rear elevations. The cottages feature a clay pantile roof, stone gable and ridge copings, and a brick stack on the left-hand side. The buildings are two storeys high and have two centrally located, vertically boarded doors. Each floor contains two sash windows with glazing bars and stone sills. On the first floor, there are two Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars and bulls-eye glass on the rear elevation. The extensions and outbuildings at the rear are not of interest.
