House and shop. Early C.18. Dressed sandstone, painted rusticated quoins to L.H.S; moulded eaves cornice. Mid C.20 concrete tiled roof; stone gable copings; kneeler to L.H.S. Rendered stack to L.H.S. with part-rendered stone, stepped flue to end (W) elevation. 3 storeys, 2 bays. Mid C.20 shop front to ground floor. Sash windows with glazing bars to first floor. Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars to second floor. All windows with painted moulded stone architraves and plain sills. String course between floors. Listing includes later extension to rear (N) fronting onto Northgate. Mid C.18. Brick on stone plinth; mid C.20 concrete tiled roof, tall brick stack to R.H.S. 2 storeys. Asymmetrical fenestration altered but including Yorkshire sashes and mid C.19 sash windows, boarded and panelled doors.
