Description

Number 10 Raymond Street is a house and shop built around 1820. It features flint construction with whitewashed brick on the front and rear walls, topped by a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. On the left side, there is a shop front with thick glazing bars and a side entry. The first floor is illuminated by two unhorned 4/4 sash windows, which are set under painted gauged skewback arches. A dentil eaves cornice runs beneath the gabled roof, and there is an internal gable-end stack on the south side. At the rear, there is a single-storey brick extension that was added in the late 20th century.
