Description

The Old Cage is a lock-up built in 1581, although it was rebuilt in the 17th century. In 1968, it was dismantled and re-erected on a new site in a reduced form. The structure features dressed stone jambs that support a round arch, with an iron grille positioned above the dado level. It is built into the side of a public convenience.
