Description

The Mermaid Inn is a public house dating from the early 18th century. It features a rendered and painted exterior with a steep Welsh slate roof, stone ridge coping, and a brick stack on the left-hand side, along with a brick and stone stack stump on the right-hand side. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor has been altered with early 20th century square bay windows, while the first floor retains late 19th century sash windows. The rear extensions on the south side are not considered of interest.
