Description
The garden wall and gatepiers to the north of Whickham House were built in the mid-19th century. They are made of tooled squared stone. The wall facing the street is approximately 1.5 metres high and features a plinth and pitched coping. At the eastern end, there is a gateway flanked by square piers that have moulded caps, while a single similar pier is located at the western end. This structure is included for its group value.
