Description
The garden wall and gate piers located on the road frontage to the north of Quay House date from the 18th century. The wall is constructed of flint and features a ramped brick coping along the top, with 19th-century brick buttresses for support. It stands approximately 6 to 7 feet high. At the west end, the wall curves back to the gateway, which is flanked by buff brick piers topped with plain stone caps. This structure is included for its group value with Quay House.
