Description
Quay House is an 18th-century house located on The Quay in Blakeney. It is constructed of quaternary beach flint with red brick dressings. The roof is steeply pitched, covered in black-glazed pantiles, with brick coping to the gable ends. A brick parapet tops the building, featuring a dentilled cornice and quoins. The house is two storeys high and consists of five bays, with the central bay projecting. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within flat rubbed brick arches which have keyblocks. First-floor windows are accentuated by brick apron panels, while ground-floor windows have moulded brick cornices. A central doorway is topped by a brick cornice and contains a panelled door within reveals.
