Description

Benbow Cottage and Ship Cottage, located on the west side of Blakeney High Street, are early 18th century buildings constructed from painted brick and flint. They feature a steep pantile roof with coped gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of three bays. The first floor has late 19th century sash windows without glazing bars, while the central window is a later three-light casement. There is a central doorway with a ledge hood supported by shaped brackets, leading to a modern glazed door. Each end of the cottages has a brick chimney stack. Additionally, there is a later 18th century wing at the rear.
