Description

Dolphin Cottage and numbers 39 and 41 form a row of cottages situated at a right angle to the road. They were likely built in the early 18th century. The cottages are constructed of flint with brick dressings; number 39 has a rendered façade. They have pantile roofs with coped gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The row has two storeys and five bays. Later sash and casement windows are present, and modern glazed doors have been installed. Inside, chamfered ceiling beams are visible. Dolphin Cottage has a lean-to addition to the end, featuring three modern windows facing the High Street.
