Description

This listing describes a pair of cottages at 17 and 19 Kettering Road, Little Bowden. The building dates to the early 18th century, although it originally comprised a single house. The facade is constructed of chequered brick with a stone plinth. The roof was originally thatched, but is now covered with corrugated iron, with coped gable ends. An off-centre chimney and an end chimney are present. The cottages are two storeys high and have four windows. These windows are late 18th or early 19th century casements, with some modern reproduction replacements. Modern doors have been installed.
