Description

The Chestnuts is an early 19th-century building located on Kettering Road in Little Bowden. It features a rendered facade that is painted white, with a narrow eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof. The structure is three storeys tall and has three windows, each adorned with moulded stone cornices supported by small brackets. The entrance includes a six-panelled door set within a frame that has a similar cornice on moulded brackets. The doorcase is detailed with a moulded architrave and a rectangular fanlight that includes tracery. Additionally, there is a single-storey outshut on the western side, which has a hipped slate roof and a round-arched door with a fanlight.
