Description
The Manor House is a 17th-century stone house with a later added wing, located recessed in the garden on Kettering Road in Little Bowden. The gable end features two windows, one of which is blocked, and has a painted mullion and transom. Above these is a small Venetian window with a small keystone. The other windows are leaded casements. The garden front has four windows, with the west side being two storeys high and the other three bays rising to three storeys. The eastern side is advanced under a hipped gable, and the three-storey section includes an end chimney and an off-centre chimney. The roof is tiled, and most windows have been replaced with modern casements, although two bays retain earlier leaded casements on the second floor. The entrance features an inset door with a moulded stone cornice.
