The facade is made of red brick and features a thatched roof, with end and off-centre chimneys. The building is one and a half storeys tall, with dormers that break through the eaves. It has three windows, which are late 18th century or early 19th century casements. Part of the north elevation is constructed from stone rubble. The eastern gable end facing the road has a 19th century shop front that includes an entablature with a cornice and panelled pilasters, although only one vertical glazing bar remains.
