Description

The gate piers and garden wall of The Old House, located on Braybrooke Road in Little Bowden, date from the 18th and 19th centuries. The wall stands approximately 6 to 8 feet high and is constructed of red brick, with some sections featuring a stone plinth. It is ramped and buttressed on the north side of the house. The end gate piers are situated at the west end of the wall. This structure follows the street boundary and, together with the house, enhances the visual appeal of the street scene.
