Description
Boothtown House, located at 3 Hall Street North, is a 17th-century traditional stone house that has been rendered. The building stands two storeys tall and features a stone roof with two gables at the front, each topped with finials. It has two mullioned and transomed windows on the upper floor, which are stepped, and carved labels beneath the hood mouldings that run continuously below. The central entrance is round-arched and has a modern timber porch. Above the entrance, there is a blind panel and a blocked window. The house has gabled returns on both the east and west sides, with the west side featuring a two-light window above and an altered window below. The rear of the house is plain.
The forecourt is marked by moulded gate piers, which currently lack cornices or finials.
