Description

The Entrance Gateway and Lodge to the Burial Ground is a mid to late 19th-century Gothic stone structure located on Boothtown Road. It features a gable over the main arch and a foot archway to the south. The original iron gates are simple, adorned with cross finials. Attached to the north side is a plain two-storey lodge, which is L-shaped and has plain sash windows and coped gables on a slated roof. There is cast iron railing in front that matches the gates. This Entrance Gateway and Lodge, along with the properties numbered 23 to 51 (odd), form a cohesive group.
