Description

The Lodge to Bankfield Museum is a mid to late 19th-century small Italianate building. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed of stone, featuring bracketed eaves and gables beneath a shallow slated roof. The entrance is marked by an arcaded portico, and there are paired sash windows that are partly round-arched. The south wing and rear of the lodge are plain in design.
