Description

Two cottages, known as Church View, date from the 18th century, with the possibility of earlier origins. They are constructed of colourwashed cob with a hipped thatched roof. The end stacks are of late 18th/early 19th century brick, with the stack on the right being finished in brickwork added in the mid-20th century. Each cottage has a two-unit plan. Flat arches feature over 20th-century part-glazed plank doors, and the windows consist of late 19th/early 20th-century two- and three-light casements, along with 19th-century three-light casements in the outer bays of the first floor. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
