Description

This is a section of wall forming the south boundary of the parish churchyard. Dating to the 19th century, it incorporates medieval materials. The wall is constructed from Thorverton stone rubble and features coping stones that are half-round and saddle-back in shape. These coping stones likely came from the medieval parish church, which was partially dismantled in 1852. The wall is included on the list for its group value.
