Description

The garden wall and gate piers to 33 and 34 Valley Road were built in the late 18th century and altered around 1850. The lower three feet of the wall is made of red brick in Flemish bond, while the upper two feet are constructed from stock brick, featuring buttresses at the rear. The wall is ramped to accommodate the incline of the road. There is a curved section to the west that includes two square brick gate piers topped with double flat stone coping. This structure is included in the listing for its group value with Nos 33 and 34 Valley Road.
