Description

The wall at the end of the lake in the grounds of Kearsney Abbey is a Grade II listed structure from the early 19th century. This castellated red brick wall serves as an "eyecatcher" at the lake's edge, spanning five sections. One side features four stock brick piers with four stock brick arches above, and part of a crenellated parapet is visible. The opposite side is faced with flints. Additionally, the wall is connected to a bridge that includes cast iron sluice gates, which are still in working order.
