Description

The Old Vicarage is an early 19th-century building located on Lower Road in Crabble. It is two storeys tall with attics and constructed from flint with red brick dressings and quoins. The roof features two dormers and a wooden eaves cornice. The building has two sash windows with intact glazing bars, and there is an iron balcony attached to the northern first-floor window. The entrance is marked by a round-headed doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight above a six-panel moulded door. The south front of the building is made of yellow brick and has four windows, with an iron balcony on the first floor. The Old Vicarage forms a group with Crabble Court.
