CORBRIDGE WHITE HOUSE NZ 06 NW 6/213 Garden house with attached garden walls 40 metres south-east of White House Farmhouse

GV II

Garden house and garden walls, mid-C18. Coursed rubble with cut quoins and dressings, stone slate roof. Garden house of square plan(incomplete part of intended larger building),attached to west side of trapezoidal walled garden. North elevation shows boarded double doors under segmental head and 1st floor boarded door in alternating-block surround; hipped roof with moulded corbels set diagonally at corners of eaves. Returns show Venetian windows to 1st floor, blocked except for inserted part-slatted window on west.

Tall garden walls with flat coping, slightly lower on south where there are 2 plain openings. Doorway adjacent to garden house has stone surround with narrow chamfer.
