Description
Aydon North Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house located in Corbridge. The front is made of roughly-squared stone, while the other sides are constructed from rubble with cut dressings. It features a Welsh slate roof and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has five symmetrical bays. There are bands above the window lintels. The central entrance consists of a 9-panel door with a 4-pane overlight above it, and there are 20-pane sash windows, two of which have been renewed. All openings are topped with wedge lintels. The gables are coped, and the end stacks have been rebuilt. On the left side, there is an old 6-pane attic casement with a timber lintel.
