Description
Low Cowling is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from rubblestone and rendered, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, with the right-hand bay featuring a gabled design that projects forward. There is a half-glazed door located between the second and third bays, which is adorned with a stone lintel. All the windows are 16-pane sashes, each with stone cills and lintels. The left side of the house has stone coping with an end stack, and there are three ridge stacks on the roof.
