Description
Manor House, dated 1668, is a house constructed of rubble stone with ashlar dressings and a graduated stone slate roof. The building is arranged in an L-shape. The east front features a projecting gabled wing to the left, which includes a 20th-century four-light mullioned window on the ground floor, a three-light chamfered mullion window above, and a blind two-light mullioned window in the gable. The return of this wing has blind chamfered mullioned windows with an outshut on the ground floor. To the right of the wing are four bays. A half-glazed door is set within a broad stone surround. To the left of the door is a sash window with a stone surround, and to the right is a two-light chamfered mullion window. On the first floor, the three bays to the left have sixteen-pane sashes in chamfered stone surrounds with cills; the right bay has a two-light chamfered mullion window, with a gable above which bears a datestone. Shaped kneelers are present on the right gable, and the roof features stone coping and a ridge stack on the left-hand wing. Two eaves stacks are located at the rear.
