Description

Warley Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubblestone and rendered, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door set within a stone surround that includes a keystone. An early 20th-century latticed porch is attached to the front. Flanking the door are 16-pane sash windows, with 12-pane side-sliding sashes located above, all framed in stone surrounds that also have keystones. The cottage has shaped kneelers and stone coping on the right side, along with end stacks.
