Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on Castle Street in Warkworth. It is built of close-jointed, tooled stone, with a Welsh slate roof and brick stacks. The house presents as two storeys and three bays wide. A short flight of three steps leads to a central four-panel door, which has a four-pane overlight. A doorway has been blocked immediately to the left of the main entrance. The fenestration consists of twelve-pane sash windows, with the lower left window having been renewed. A coped gable is visible at the left end, and there are end stacks, with the left stack having been rebuilt in the late 20th century.
