No. 1 Castle Terrace is a cottage built from squared stone, featuring a pantile roof with rendered stacks. It is a single storey structure with two bays. The door, located slightly left of centre, has been renewed. The cottage has 20th-century 12-pane casement windows with slightly projecting sills that are painted white.
