Description

No. 6 High Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It features roughcast over random rubble and has a steeply pitched bellcast pantiled roof with a brick stack on the left side. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are 20th-century two-light casements, except for the ground floor window to the left of the central entrance, which is an early 19th-century three-light leaded iron casement. The entrance has a 20th-century glazed door and a porch with a flat slate slab supported by projecting brick piers. This cottage is primarily listed for its group value with the adjoining properties, Nos. 8 and 10 High Street.
