Description
Old Cross House is a house with a shop that has been converted into a dwelling. It dates from the 18th century and was altered and extended in the mid-19th century. The exterior is roughcast over random rubble, topped with a shallow pitched slate roof featuring overhanging eaves, a soffit board, and paired decorative brackets. There are brick stacks at the right gable end and to the left of the entrance. The building is two storeys high and has a layout of one bay on the left and three bays on the right. All openings are adorned with Tudor style hood moulds. The right side has 12-pane sash windows, while the central window is smaller and a later addition. To the left, there is a quarter-glazed door under a hood mould, along with a double garage in the outer bay, which was originally a shop window likely added in the 19th century. The entrance to the earlier dwelling was located in the second bay on the right. The interior has not been viewed.
