Description

No. 43 Castle Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared stone and features a blue Welsh slate roof with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three symmetrical bays. There is a plinth and a band at the first floor level. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a plain fanlight, set within an arched stone surround that includes imposts and a keystone. The windows are 12-pane sash style, each with slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped, and there are end stacks, with the left stack having been rebuilt in the 20th century.
