Description
Quinque House is an early 18th-century house located on New Street in Deddington. It is constructed from coursed squared marlstone and features a Welsh-slate roof with brick gable stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The front facade is regular with four windows, each featuring tall renewed two-light casements on both floors. The window above the entrance in the third bay has a lowered sill, and all openings are topped with stone flat arches. There is evidence of a doorway that was once present in the second bay. The steep-pitched roof is adorned with gable parapets and projecting moulded kneelers. A contemporary rear wing extends from the right side of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
