Description
Treholford is a mid-17th century house located on New Street in Deddington. It is constructed from coursed squared marlstone with limestone-ashlar dressings and features a concrete plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys plus a semi-basement high.
The front of the house has a regular four-window arrangement, with the entrance situated in the second bay below a single-light window. The other bays feature two-light windows on the first floor and three-light windows below, all adorned with splayed stone mullions, labels, and leaded glazing. The right bay includes a large cellar window, which is now mostly blocked. The right gable wall has a parapet and contains an additional three-light mullioned window. The steep-pitched roof has stacks located at the left end and between the third and fourth bays. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have a staircase adjacent to the main stack.
