Description
Home Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. The left part of the building is constructed from rubble with roughly-shaped quoins, while the right part is made from squared stone with tooled-and-margined dressings. It has a Welsh slate roof.
The north elevation is divided into two sections. The right part is two storeys high with three bays and has a symmetrical design. It features a central flush-panelled door with a four-pane overlight, set in a chamfered surround beneath a hood supported by moulded brackets. The windows are 16-pane sash windows, with the lower right window having been renewed, all set in chamfered alternating-block surrounds with slightly-projecting sills. The gables are coped, and there are stepped-and-corniced end stacks with tripartite shafts.
The left part of the house is one storey high with four bays, containing two four-pane casements and one four-pane sash window, all in chamfered alternating-block surrounds, along with a small slatted opening. The left gable is coped and features a small end stack.
