Description
There are two headstones located approximately 10 yards south-west of the Church of St. Mary.
The first headstone is for Sarah Tones, dated 1794, made of sandstone. It features a scrolled pedimented top adorned with an angel and symbols representing death and eternity, along with an inscription enclosed in a roundel with a cable-moulded surround.
The second headstone is for Elizabeth Shireton, dated 1788, also made of sandstone. It has a scrolled pedimented top with an angel, foliage, and symbols of eternity.
