Description

This listing describes a group of nine headstones located 5 to 10 yards east of the Church of St. Mary in Stamfordham. All the headstones feature scrolled pedimented tops and are made of sandstone.

  1. The headstone for James Hall dates from 1813 and includes an angel along with symbols of death and eternity.
