Description
A group of eight sandstone headstones is located 5 to 15 yards southeast of the Church of St. Mary in Stamfordham.

The headstone for William Potts dates from 1789 and features a scrolled pedimented top with an angel's head, flanked by angels holding symbols of eternity. Above, two additional angels hold a text.

The headstone for Archibold and Margaret Goodfellow, from 1783 and 1789, has a scrolled pedimented top adorned with a crowned angel and symbols of eternity.

David Barron's headstone, dated 1769, has a shaped and enriched top with a cherub and swags.

Elizabeth Hall's headstone, from 1785, features a scrolled pedimented top with a sunk panel and enriched moulding, along with two angels and swags.
